The Danish Secondment Act amended with new sanctions for non-compliance

Under the Danish Secondment Act, employers posting employees to perform services in Denmark are required to register with the Danish RUT Register.

Previously, failure to comply with this requirement could result in the employer being fined with a sum of up to DKK 10.000 (approximately EUR 1.340). Starting from July 1st 2018, this sanction has been strengthened: failure to register with the RUT can result in the employer being required to pay a fine of around DKK 1.500 (approximately EUR 200) a day until the registration is completed.
